The Crafty Fox

Hi,

My name is Angie and I began The Crafty Fox in April 2020 during lockdown, 2 months after moving to Seaham. This is where I first became aware of sea glass.

Seaham was a very industrious town in Victorian times. It had several coal pits, a chemical works, brickworks, ropery, a bottle works and much more. The bottle works was situated on the cliff edge over the sea and waste glass was tipped directly into the sea each day. Over the last 100 years this glass has been tumbled by the sea to create beautiful shades of smooth glass. People flock from all over the world to collect glass from Seaham, and is very popular with Americans.

The decision to make my art and unique items was driven by the desire to be different from everyone else in the sea glass world and with my Pebble People I have achieved it, and they are expanding all the time.

If you would like any more info about my products or to place an order please visit my facebook page or contact me on the email address below.

Thanks, Angie x
