About us
Hi, I'm Helen and i’m the admin and owner of the popular Facebook group ‘Sell your craft supplies and handmade crafts UK'
As our group continues to grow (we now have over 12,400 active members and are growing daily!) I had the thought that there must be a simpler way for our members to show off their fabulous makes. Facebook is an amazing tool but posts can become 'lost' along the way especially in a large, busy group.
My idea was to set up a one stop directory for talented crafters throughout the UK. Each maker can have their own dedicated area to promote themselves and their business. After lots of work, late nights and a few tears 'The UK Craft Directory' was born.
The directory features work such as handmade cards & stationery, beautiful photography prints, knitwear, engraved gifts and lots more, all handmade in the UK.
Most of our crafters are already members of our friendly facebook group and this directory shows you how to find their products and how to get in touch in a very simple way. No more scrolling through post after post trying to find that one off handmade piece!
If you would like to show off your makes with us you'll have your own dedicated area in the directory to include direct links to your website, facebook, instagram, facebook, etsy, folksy etc along with an ‘about you’ section and an area to display some images of your creations.
(UPDATE: MAY 2025. We now have a brand new section of the website dedicated to craft markets, workshops and events throughout the UK. If you're looking for craft fair to visit or fancy trying your hand at a new craft then have a browse through, you will find them all listed in regions so they're very easy to find. For those of you that are crafters and want to have a stall at a craft fair i'm currently compiling a list of event organisers who you can get in touch with and book directly with them.)
