Hi, I’m Helen — the admin and owner of the popular Facebook group The UK Craft Directory (Sell Your Craft Supplies and Handmade Crafts UK)

As our wonderful community has continued to grow (we now have over 13,800 active members and rising every day!), I realised there had to be an easier way for our talented members to showcase their incredible creations. While Facebook is an amazing platform, posts can quickly get lost in a busy, fast-moving group.

That’s when the idea for a dedicated, easy-to-use space was born — a one-stop directory where UK crafters could truly shine.

After lots of hard work, late nights, and yes… a few tears along the way, The UK Craft Directory came to life.

Today, the directory proudly features a wide range of handmade items including cards and stationery, knitwear, jewellery, engraved gifts, and so much more — all lovingly created here in the UK.

Many of our makers are already part of our friendly Facebook community, and the directory makes it simple to discover their work, connect with them, and support small creative businesses — without the need to scroll endlessly through posts to find that perfect handmade piece.

If you choose to join us, you’ll have your own dedicated space within the directory. This includes direct links to your website and social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Etsy, Folksy etc), an “About You” section, and a gallery to beautifully display your creations.

Update – April 2026:
We’ve recently celebrated our first anniversary, marking a full year of growth, creativity, and supporting amazing makers across the UK — something I’m incredibly proud of!

We’ve also expanded the directory to include a dedicated section for craft markets, workshops, and events across the UK. Whether you're looking for a local craft fair to visit or eager to try a new craft, everything is organised by region to make browsing simple. For makers wanting to take part, there’s now a growing list of event organisers you can contact directly to book stalls.
